Kids Fishing Workshop
Children between the ages of 7-15 can attend the workshop at the Cachuma Lake Nature Center. Starting at 8:45 am, it is taught by fly fisherman Neal Taylor and is limited to 50 children. The workshop is free, though there is a $8 parking fee at the park. Another workshop is scheduled for Aug. 23.

SYVUHS 10 year reunion
Graduates of the STVUHS class of 1998 are invited to a 10-year Class Reunion. Activities will include a casual park BBQ lunch. wine tasting, golf tourney, and Alisal River Grill dinner. Cachuma Lake Nature Walk
Cachuma Lake Nature Walk & Junior Ranger Program: 1-mile walk for all ages on the Oak Canyon Trail from 10 - 11:30 am every Saturday. (Free with $8 Park admission per vehicle.) Junior Park Rangers Program (ages 3-12) from 1 - 2 pm. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn about wildlife, caring for the environment, & earn a badge. ($2 per child.) Cachuma Lake Wildlife Cruise
All cruises aboard the 45 passenger pontoon boat "Osprey" feature a 2-hour tour with naturalist describing area wildlife, wildflowers and resident birds. $15 adults; $7 children ages 4-12 (please no ages 4 or under) plus $8.00 per vehicle park admission. March-October cruises are generallyu conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m.; Saturday at 10:00a.m. & 3:00p.m. and Sunday at 10:00a.m. Reservations recommended.
